One series of chassis numbers was used on all the push-rod cars, the Twin-Cam's had their own. MGA chassis numbers contain a prefix and a serial number, such as HDR43 (prefix)/ 65412 (serial).
Chassis numbers ran from 10101 to 109070 for push-rod cars, and 501 to 2611 for Twin-Cam's.
